LONG LAKE TOWNSHIP BOARD
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
September 14, 2009 Town Hall
The regular monthly Town Board meeting was called to order by Chairman LeRoy Sandridge at 6:00 pm followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Board supervisors Harvey Olund and Wes Mohns, Treasurer Ruth Ann Dinga, and Clerk Marcia Kampf were present.
MONTHLY BOARD MEETING MINUTES: A motion was made by Harvey and seconded by Wes to approve the August 11 monthly Board minutes. Motion passed. Then the clerk read the August 18 Special Board Meeting minutes. Wes made a motion and Harvey seconded it to approve these minutes. Motion passed.
FINANCIAL REPORT: The Board approved Ruth Ann’s August, 2009 financial report as presented with a motion made by Harvey and seconded by Wes. Motion passed.
REZONING APPICATION FOR CLUB SHED LLC: Charles Crisler was present and explained that the purpose for splitting the current parcel was to build a storage building on the second parcel and eventually to sell the existing house & storage unit on the first parcel. The Planning Commission recommended that the first parcel not be further split. Wes made a motion to accept the rezoning with the recommendations that parcel 1 could not be further divided. Harvey seconded. Motion carried.
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN BOOKS: It was decided to wait to see what the County does with Comprehensive Planning before ordering books. Marcia gave her copy to LeRoy.
BOAT LANDING PROBLEMS: Wes will look into grant money for this project. He made a motion to table this until next month. Harvey seconded it. Motion carried.
DATE FOR BUDGET PLANNING: It was set for Monday, Oct. 19 at 9:00 am. at the Town Hall.
MEETING DATE FOR OCTOBER: It was set for Tuesday Oct. 20 at 6:00 pm. as LeRoy will be out of town on the second Tuesday.
PUBLIC INPUT:
Pat Kores-Eastside Road-said she could not get TV reception and asked why there was not cable in her area. Wes said he would call them with a name of someone who could possibly help them.
Hal Liesenfeldt asked if there was an ordinance about when they could start pounding nails or make noise in the morning and was told there isn’t any in Long Lake. He also asked about power loading boats at the landings.
REPORTS OF TOWN OFFICERS:
LeRoy- had a price of $3,090 from Monarch on a stretch of road that needs repair on County Road P and Audubon Road. The Board agreed to have this done. LeRoy asked about changing building inspectors. Wes said the State assigns inspectors now. Put this on agenda for next month.
Harvey Olund-road report- crack sealing will be done in the next two weeks. Stop Ahead sign on Laundromat Rd. is up.
Wes Mohns-suggested mowing info from Gene Romsos should be kept on hand for next year as prices looked good.
Ruth Ann-discussed a letter from Cty Treasurer regarding tax parcels not paid
Marcia-Fall budget workshop reminder, results of cleanup day-cost was $1560 which was below the grant of $1800.

VOUCHERS: A motion was made by Harvey and seconded by Wes to pay vouchers 2020-2038. Motion passed.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m. The next meeting will be Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009 at 6:00 pm. A tape of these minutes will be kept on file at the Town Hall or at the Clerks Home.
