LONG LAKE TOWNSHIP BOARD
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
March 9, 2010 Town Hall
The regular monthly Town Board meeting was called to order by Chairman LeRoy Sandridge at 6:00 pm followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Board supervisors Harvey Olund, Treasurer Ruth Ann Dinga, and Clerk Marcia Kampf were present. Supervisor Wes Mohns was absent.
MONTHLY BOARD MEETING MINUTES: A motion was made by Harvey and seconded by LeRoy to approve the February monthly board minutes as read by the clerk. Motion approved.
FINANCIAL REPORT: The Board approved Ruth Ann’s February, 2010 financial report as presented with a motion made by Harvey and seconded by LeRoy. Motion passed.
CUTTING WOOD ON TOWN PROPERTY-Jeff Rubin-No action was taken as Jeff did not attend the meeting.
DISCUSION-MORNINGSIDE PROPERTY: LeRoy asked the Lawyer to look into this and hasn’t heard back yet. Marcia met with Ron Bennis from Washburn County Land Records at the Town Hall and he took some old books with minutes to look over for information on the laying out of roads. If he finds any information in them regarding the Morningside property he will let us know.
UPDATE ON TOWN HALL BOAT LANDING: Marcia read a note from Wes giving an update on the project. Surveying has been completed and length of the ramps determined and established based on lake levels at the present time. All forms and permit applications will be completed and submitted to the DNR by Marty Shutt. There will be a resolution from the DNR at the April meeting.

Gene Romsos reported that First Responders finished their training.

LeRoy-nothing
Harvey Olund-road report-Road weight limits need to be out March 15. Harvey will tell John Rau to do this. There’s a dip in the road on Long Lake Ave. A discussion ensued on how to fix this. Harvey had a Road Plan for 2010 through 2014. He will send it to the Washburn Cty Hwy Commissioner.

Marcia-Census will be using the Town Hall for training the week of March 15-19.

VOUCHERS: A motion was made by Harvey and seconded by LeRoy to pay vouchers 2153-2170. Motion passed.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 6:45 p.m. The next meeting will be Tuesday, April 13, 2010 following the 6:00 pm Annual Meeting. A tape of these minutes will be kept on file at the Town Hall or at the Clerks Home.
