LONG LAKE TOWNSHIP BOARD
MEETING MINUTES
June 14, 2011 Town Hall
The regular monthly Town Board meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Chairman LeRoy Sandridge and followed with the Pledge of Allegiance. Board supervisors Ed Olund and Brett Westphal were present along with Treasurer Ruth Ann Dinga, and Clerk Marcia Kampf.
MONTHLY BOARD MEETING MINUTES: A motion was made by Ed Olund and seconded by Brett to approve the minutes from May 10, 2011. Motion carried.
FINANCIAL REPORT: The Board approved Ruth Ann?s May, 2011 financial report as presented with a motion made by Brett and seconded by Ed. Motion passed.
EXTEND ATV ROUTE ON COUNTY M FROM PROPS TO SOUTH ENTRANCE OF LITTLE BEAR RD: Ed Olund will take the decision to the County for approval. Ed made a motion to approve the route and Brett seconded. Motion carried.
APPROVE LIQUOR LICENSES: Ed made a motion and Brett seconded to approve the 8 liquor licenses as presented by the clerk. Motion passed.
REVISIONS FOR UBC ORDINANCE: This will be on next month?s agenda to give the Planning Commission time to review and revise.
REVALUATION OF CALCULATION FOR AMBULANCE SERVICE: LeRoy who is the Town?s representative to the BCESD reported on the changes in the calculations of the cost to the Townships served. Brett will contact LMC in Rice Lake who services the west side of the township to see if LMC will service all of Long Lake Township as LMC does not charge thee Township.
SET DATE FOR CLEAN UP DAY: Marcia explained that funds up to $1800 were available. She will check with approved vendors and a date in August will be set at next month?s meeting.
ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS: Brush cutting-Keith Martini sent a proposal to the Town for $58 per hour. LeRoy will call him to mow the grass. Chip//crack sealing-County and Fahrner gave LeRoy quotes. It was decided that the County was less expensive. Ed will contact the County. Gravel is less expensive with County also. New signs need to go up. LeRoy will contact John.
NEW CHAIRS FOR TOWN HALL: This will be on the agenda for next month as LeRoy has not heard from his source.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: None
PUBLIC INPUT:
? Barb Cooan was upset about some ATV?s going too fast on her road. She also inquired about paving her road.
REPORTS OF TOWN OFFICERS:
LeRoy ?wants building inspector contract on next month agenda, questioned logger?s insurance policy- Brett will check on this.
Ed Olund-public landing is good-lots of compliments from users
Brett-nothing
Ruth Ann-had a request from a lawyer on special assessments-asked if The Town had any.
Marcia-reported she spoke to the Washburn County Historical Society about taking some old records and the old safe from the Town Hall-they are interested.

VOUCHERS: A motion was made by Brett and seconded by Ed to pay vouchers 2484-2498 plus EFT transfer 888888. Motion passed.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m. The next regular monthly meeting will be Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at 6:00 pm. A tape of these minutes will be kept on file at the Town Hall or at the Clerks Home.
