LONG LAKE TOWNSHIP BOARD
REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
February 10, 2009 Town Hall
The regular monthly Town Board meeting was called to order at 6:00 pm by Chairman LeRoy Sandridge followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call. Board supervisors Harvey Olund and Bert Richter, Treasurer Ruth Ann Dinga, and Clerk Marcia Kampf were present.
MONTHLY BOARD MEETING MINUTES: The Board approved the minutes of the January 13, 2009 meeting as read by the clerk with a motion made by Harvey and seconded by Bert.
FINANCIAL REPORT: The Board approved Ruth Ann’s January, 2009 financial report as presented with a motion made by Bert and seconded by Harvey.
BOY SCOUT WISHES: This issue was dropped. Representatives from The Scouts went to the Planning Commission meeting and after discussion with them decided to drop their proposed plans for Elver Road.
PAY REIMBURSEMENT FOR TOWN HALL CLEANING: After discussion, a motion was made by Harvey and seconded by Bert to increase the hourly payment per hour from $11.00 to $15.00 for cleaning the Town Hall. Cleaning is generally done once a month and takes 2-3 hours. Gloria Prock has agreed to do the cleaning.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
LeRoy reported on the recreation committee. Gene Romsos had given an appreciation party for the people who helped with the ATV signage and turned in his bill for expenses.
Rich Alvin reported that the First Responders have not been real busy.
PUBLIC INPUT:
Rich Alvin reported that the culvert on the corner of County Line Road and Lakken Road was plugged up and water was running over the road. Harvey will check on this.
REPORTS OF TOWN OFFICERS:
LeRoy –nothing
Harvey Olund-Road report: talked about some culverts-said they were unplugged and working ok.
Bert Richter-reported there is ice on Lapcinski Rd-discussed with LeRoy and Harvey; talked about tipping fees at the dump and a letter he sent to Mary Huebler regarding this. A discussion on the dump followed.
Ruth Ann-nothing
Marcia-reported that she will be gone from Feb. 19 –March 4, and reminded everyone of the Spring Primary election Feb. 17.

Bid from Morgan Lawn Care for mowing Town Hall
Letter from Washburn Cty Hwy Dept. regarding sand/salt pricing
Play Equipment catalogs
Washburn Cty Zoning-copies of all land use and sanitary permits for 2008
Postcard from Fahrner Asphalt
VOUCHERS: A motion was made and approved to pay vouchers 1857-1890.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 6:40 p.m. The next meeting will be Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 6:00 pm. A tape of these minutes will be kept on file at the Town Hall or at the Clerks Home.
