TOWN OF LONG LAKE COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
MAY 8, 2008
Chairman Lloyd Olund called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m..
Members present were: Mick Givens, David Haessig, Lloyd Olund and Greg Rindsig.
Members absent: LeRoy Sandridge.
The Secretary read the Secretary’s report for the April 3 Comprehensive Planning Commission meeting.
Motion Haessig and second Olund to approve the minutes of the April 3, 2008 meeting.
Voting for: All.
Voting against: None.
Motion carried.
New Business:
Agenda item 3a. There was no Public Comment.
Agenda item 3b. John Fossum presented his setback variance request. Motion Haessig and second Givens to approve the request as presented.
Voting for: All.
Voting against: None.
Motion carried.
LeRoy Sandridge arrived at 7:45.
Agenda item 3c. Gene Romsos gave the Recreation Committee report. He presented the preliminary agreement Washburn County proposed for the Highway M/Morningside Road ATV crossing. No action taken.
Agenda item 3d. The Morningside Plat was informally discussed following a brief report from LeRoy Sandridge. No action taken.
Agenda item 3e. Greg Rindsig was introduced and welcomed as the newest LLCPC member, replacing Goeff Hovde. No action taken.
Agenda item 3f. David Haessig commented that Mike McCabe contacted him regarding an upcoming re-zoning at the Boy Scout Camp.
Motion Haessig and second Olund to adjourn.

Motion carried. Meeting adjourned 8:15 p.m..
