TOWN OF LONG LAKE COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
June 5, 2008
Chairman Lloyd Olund called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m..
Members present were: Mick Givens, David Haessig, Lloyd Olund, LeRoy Sandridge and Greg Rindsig.
Members absent: None.
The Secretary read the Secretary’s report for the May 8 Comprehensive Planning Commission meeting.
Motion Haessig and second Sandridge to approve the minutes of the May 8, 2008 meeting.
Voting for: All.
Voting against: None.
Motion carried.
New Business:
Agenda item 3a. There was no Public Comment.
Agenda item 3b. Mark McCabe presented the Boy Scout rezoning request.
Motion Givens and second Olund to table the request.
Voting for: Givens, Olund and Sandridge.
Voting against: Haessig and Rindsig.
Motion carried.
Agenda item 3c. Gene Romsos gave the Recreation Committee report. He indicated Washburn County apparently has the proposed agreement for the Highway M/Morningside Road ATV crossing ready. No action taken.
Agenda item 3d. Don Antczak appeared to gather information regarding establishing a borrow pit. Informal discussion was held. No action taken.
Agenda item 3e. LeRoy sandridge reported that the scrap collection situation is apparently not in violation. No action taken.
Agenda item 3f. David Haessig commented that he would prefer to get informational items relative to agenda items in advance of the meetings. LeRoy Sandridge indicated he would ask the Town Board to consider paying mileage to Planning Commission members.
Motion Haessig and second Rindsig to adjourn.
Voting for: All.
Voting against: None.
Motion carried. Meeting adjourned 7:59 p.m..
