TOWN OF LONG LAKE COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
December 4, 2008
Chairman Lloyd Olund called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m..
Members present were: Mick Givens, David Haessig, Lloyd Olund, LeRoy Sandridge and Greg Rindsig.
Members absent: None.
The Secretary read the Secretary’s report for the June 5 Comprehensive Planning Commission meeting.
Motion Haessig and second Rindsig to approve the minutes of the June 5, 2008 meeting.
Voting for: All.
Voting against: None.
Motion carried.
New Business:
Agenda item 3a. There was no Public Comment.
Agenda item 3b. Kenneth Carlson presented the Carlson rezoning request.
Motion Rindsig and second Haessig to Recommend to the Town Board that the rezoning request of Kenneth and Wendy Carlson be approved for the SE ¼ of the SE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 25 Town 39 Range 11, which is the southernmost 10 acres of the 20 acre request..
Voting for: All.
Voting against: None.
Motion carried.
Agenda item 3c. Gene Romsos gave the Recreation Committee report. No action taken.
Agenda item 3d. LeRoy Sandridge reported he has had no contact from attorney Bill Thiel regarding the Morningside Park land. No action taken.
Agenda item 3e. David Haessig volunteered to contact attorney Joe Thrasher, discuss the Morningside Park issue, and report back to the Planning Commission.
Motion Sandridge and second Rindsig to adjourn.
Voting for: All.
Voting against: None.
Motion carried. Meeting adjourned 7:02 p.m..
