Town of Long Lake Plan Commission
Meeting Minutes – August 6, 2009
Acting Chairman Alan Barta called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m.
Members Present: Alan Barta, David Haessig, Gene Romsos and LeRoy Sandridge
Members Absent: Bill Austin
Minutes of July 2, 2009 were circulated. Motion by Romsos and seconded by Sandridge to approve.
Voting for: All
Voting against: None
Motion: CARRIED
Old Business:
a) Town ordinances are now on Long Lake Township website.
b) Sandridge brought copy of Roberts Rules and will bring information from Seminar
c) Romsos and Barta will bring proposed transmittal document to the next meeting.
New Business:
a) Discussed new county subdivision ordinance. Felt explanation of the ordinance and towns need of an ordinance would be helpful. Haessig will invite Ed Olund, Chair of County Zoning, to the September 3rd meeting.
b) Began review of Town Comprehensive Plan and will continue next month. Starting with Transportation.
c) Discussed town properties on Morningside Road. Sandridge will make copies of March 20th review of attorney’s opinion. Will place on agenda for future meeting.
d) Mowing of county roads in township – conclusion of poor work on Cty Hwy M. Romsos brought info and prices from D. Ullom of Shell Lake. Sandridge will take to town board.

f) Additions to town website – add link to county ordinances. Barta will send letter to Marsha.
g) Public Input – None
Remarks by Commissioners:
Haessig – several new driveways on Morningside Road. Have permits been obtained?
Next meeting set for September 3rd, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. at the Long Lake Town Hall.
